- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can Muir Glen Fire Roasted Diced Tomatoes
- 1 2/3 cups Muir Glen Tomato Basil Pasta Sauce
- 1/2 cup banana ketchup
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 3 hotdogs, sliced `
- 1 pound spaghetti
- Cheddar cheese (optional), for garnish
Method
Step 1
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onions and sauté until translucent, about 2-3 minutes. Stir in garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Step 2
Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain excess fat if needed.
Step 3
Stir in Muir Glen Tomato Basil Pasta Sauce, Muir Glen Fire Roasted Diced Tomatoes, banana ketchup, brown sugar, and fish sauce. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer for 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and the sauce to thicken.

Stir in sliced hotdogs and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Step 5
Toss the sauce with cooked spaghetti or spoon it over individual servings. Garnish with shredded cheddar cheese, if desired before serving.
