Pide Pizza with Egg, Onion, Pepper, Chili & Thyme
5 cups flour
2 cups warm water
5 tablespoons olive oil
1 tsp salt
In a large bowl, mix together all the ingredients and make a soft dough. (You can make 4 pizza with this dough.) Leave it in refrigerator for 2 hours. After 2 hours, divide it into 4 pieces and choose one. (You can save the other pieces in the fridge for 3 days)
1 big red onion
3 tablespoons yogurt
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 slices kashar or tulum cheese
1 tablespoon tomato or red pepper sauce
Fresh green & red peppers Red pepper flakes
Roll your dough into a rectangle big enough. (You can use some flour if necessary) Put it on tray and spread it by using your fingers. Make borders. Whisk yogurt & olive oil and spread over the dough (both over the surface and over the borders). Also spread tomato / red pepper sauce on the borders. Top with cheese and onion slices. Crack the eggs into the onion slices. (You can also make dough circles around the eggs.) Preheat the oven to 350 F(180 C) and cook for about 25 - 30 minutes, until it turns golden brown. Serve it with fresh pepper slices, red pepper flakes & thyme.
Note: The baked dough (the final dough) won't be so soft, a little bit crispy.
