- 1/4 cup tahini
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 cloves of minced garlic
- 1 juiced lemon
- 1 tablespoon honey
- as needed water
- to taste salt and ground black pepper
Method
Step 1
Prepare the Cauliflower: Heat the extra virgin olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the cauliflower florets and stir-fry for 6-7 minutes until they begin to soften and develop some color. Sprinkle the za’atar, cumin, and paprika over the cauliflower. Stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until the cauliflower is tender and slightly charred. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
Step 2
Make the Tahini Aioli: Combine the tahini, mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, and honey in a small bowl. Stir until smooth and creamy. Add water, a tablespoon at a time, until the aioli reaches your desired consistency. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
Step 3
Assemble and Serve: Transfer the stir-fried cauliflower to a serving dish. Drizzle the tahini aioli over the top. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley. Serve warm with lemon wedges on the side.
