  • 1 pound diced into ½-inch cubes sushi grade ahi tuna
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 cup jasmine rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup diced mango
  • 1 medium diced cucumber
  • 1 large diced avocado
  • 1 small thinly sliced jalapeno
  • for garnish chopped green onion

For the Sriracha May Sauce:

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tabelspoon freshly squeezed lime juice
  • to taste salt and ground black pepper

Method

  • Step 1

    Prepare the Ahi Tuna: In a bowl, gently toss the diced tuna with soy sauce and sesame oil until it’s well coated. Cover and refrigerate until it’s ready to assemble.

    Make the Sriracha Mayo Sauce: In another small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Sriracha sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, salt, and ground black pepper. Adjust the amount of Sriracha sauce to reach your preferred spiciness level.
