"Juicy, tangy, silky-yesterday’s pregame for the pregame. I had no idea I’d purchased blood mandarins but it got me excited! So naturally I juiced them, infused some fresh thyme into simple syrup, pulled the Farmers Gin out of the freezer and got to shaking. Infatuated with that rich scarlet hue."

ingredients

  • 3 ounces blood mandarin juice
  • 3 ounces gin
  • 1 ounce thyme simple syrup
  • 1 ounce lemon juice
  • 1/2 ounce egg white

Method

  • Step 1

    Combine all ingredients in a shaker without ice. Dry shake for 15-20 seconds. Add ice, shake vigorously. Pour into a coup glass and garnish with a sprig if thyme.
