Recipe Card

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cups vegan butter/ virgin coconut oil (at room temprature)
  • 1 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cups plant based milk
  • 1 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoons baking powder/ cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoons salt

  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoons cinnamon powder

Method

  • Step 1

    In a bowl mix sugar and butter nicely for around 1-2 minutes. Add milk and vanilla extract, mix again.

  • Step 2

    In another bowl, add all the dry ingredients of the dough. Add to the wet ingredients and make a dough.

  • Step 3

    Take small equal-sized portions of the dough and roll between your palms to form smooth balls.

  • Step 4

    Mix the cinnamon powder and sugar in a bowl and roll the dough balls in this cinnamon-sugar mixture.

  • Step 5

    Bake the balls in a pre-heated oven at 180°C or 370°F for around 10-12 minutes.

  • Step 6

    Once done, remove from the oven, put on a cooling tray and enjoy once they reach room temperature.
