- 1 tablespoon melted unsalted butter, plus more for greasing
- 2 1/2 tablespoons granulated sugar (use a mix of brown and white, if desired)
- 1 - 2 tablespoons tart cherry juice (enough to reach a smooth consistency)
- 1 tablespoon whisked egg (from a whole egg)
- Dash of vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon dark cocoa powder
- Pinch of fine sea salt
- Dark chocolate chips, to taste
- Dried tart cherries, to taste
Method
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a ramekin with butter.
Step 2
In a small bowl, whisk melted butter and sugar until combined. Add tart cherry juice, 1 tablespoon of whisked egg, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
Step 3
Stir in flour, cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt until just combined.

Add as many dark chocolate chips and dried tart cherries as your heart desires.
