ingredients
- 1 (13.5 ounce) can full-fat coconut milk
- 1 (13.5 ounce) can coconut cream
- 1/4 cup coconut sugar
- 12 ounces freeze-dried strawberries
- 1 tablespoon The Coconut Cult yogurt (any flavor)
Method
Step 1
In a blender or food processor, combine coconut milk, coconut cream, coconut sugar, and freeze-dried strawberries. Blend until smooth.
Step 2
Pour the mixture into a clean glass jar. Stir in 1 tablespoon of The Coconut Cult yogurt as your probiotic starter.
Step 3
Cover the jar with a breathable cloth or a loose-fitting lid and let it sit at room temperature for 24 hours.
Step 4
After 24 hours, the mixture should begin to thicken slightly. Transfer the jar to the refrigerator and chill for another 10 hours.
Step 5
Once chilled and thickened, your homemade probiotic yogurt is ready to enjoy. Start with small servings (1–2 teaspoons) and gradually increase to 1–2 tablespoons per day.
Step 6
For your next batch: Use 1 tablespoon of your homemade yogurt in place of the Coconut Cult starter.
