ingredients
Waffles
- 1/2 cups Butter,
- 1 cups Water
- 3 tablespoons Granulated sugar
- 1 cups Gluten free flour
- 4 Egge

Cinnamon and Sugar
- 1/4 cups Granulated Sugar
- 1 tablespoons Cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons Butter

Chocolate Sauce
- 1/2 cups Dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 cups Heavy cream
Method
Step 1
In a medium sauce pan melt butter over medium heat. Once melted add water and sugar and stir continuously until the mixture starts to simmer.
Step 2
Remove from heat and add gluten free flour to sauce pan. Stir mixture together forming dough into a ball. Once formed into a ball continue to stir for 2 minutes. Then transfer to a bowl and let cool for 5 minutes.
Step 3
While dough is cooling beat the eggs.
Step 4
Add 1/3 of eggs to the dough and mix together with a hand mixer. Continue this step until eggs are all added to dough.
Step 5
Preheat waffle iron.
Step 6
While waffle iron is preheating combine cinnamon and sugar on a plate and melt butter.
Step 7
Lightly grease waffle iron and place 1/4 cup of dough directly in the center of waffle iron. Waffles are done when golden brown.
Step 8
Immediately transfer waffle to a plate, brush both sides with butter and roll in cinnamon and sugar.
Step 9
Once all churro waffles are ready it's time to make the chocolate sauce. In a microwave safe bowl heat 1/4 cup heavy cream in microwave until hot, then add chocolate chips to hot cream and let sit for 1 minute. Whisk together until combine.
Step 10
Drizzle or dip churro waffles with chocolate.
