ingredients

  • 3/4 cup Greek yogurt, or plain yogurt
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon flaky sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Aleppo pepper
  • 4 large eggs
  • small handful of dill, chopped
  • fresh bread, sliced and toasted

Method

  • Step 1

    Bring the yogurt to room temperate and stir in the garlic and salt.

  • Step 2

    In a small pan, melt the butter gently until it is just starting to brown and then turn off the heat and stir in the pepper flakes. The butter will foam up.

  • Step 3

    Poach eggs to your liking. Set aside.

  • Step 4

    To serve, divide the yogurt between two bowls and the top with two poached eggs and then drizzle over the spiced butter. Garnish with the fresh dill.
