Recipe Card

ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup Water
  • 1/2 teasp Black Tea Grain or Leaves
  • 1 tablesp Honey
  • 1 cup Apple Juice
  • 1/2 cup Ice Cubes
  • 2 tablesp chopped Apple

Method

  • Step 1

    In a pan, bring water to a boil.

  • Step 2

    Add the tea leaves, remove from flame and allow the tea to steep for 5 minutes. The stronger the chai, the better the flavour.

  • Step 3

    Strain the tea into a container.

  • Step 4

    Mix in the honey and set aside the tea to cool.

  • Step 5

    Once the tea has come to room temperature, assemble your Iced Apple Chai.

  • Step 6

    In a tall glass, add ice cubes and diced apple.

  • Step 7

    Pour in the chai and apple juice.

  • Step 8

    Allow it to sit for 5 minutes before you sip.
