ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup dutch process cocoa powder
  • 1 3/4 cups sugar
  • 2 sticks room temperature butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Chocolate Ganache

  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Method

  • Step 1

    In a stand mixer, add the butter and sugar and mix until fluffy. Add the milk, yogurt, and eggs to the stand mixer and mix until combined.

  • Step 2

    Add the flour mixture gradually to the stand mixer and mix until combined. Spray a generous amount of oil in the pan and transfer the cake mixture.

  • Step 3

    Bake in the preheated oven at 325° F for 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes clean. Let it cool completely on a cooling rack.

  • Step 4

    For the chocolate ganache: heat the heavy whipping cream in the microwave for 30 seconds, add the butter, and put it again for 30 seconds.

  • Step 5

    Add the chocolate chips and mix with a spoon until melted. Pour the chocolate on the cake, add berries, and enjoy!
