We love fried food. Something about homemade fried food makes us feel that much better about eating it, too. 

Serve these potato wedges with the Ultimate Steak Burger and Broccoli Salad for an easy weeknight dinner.

ingredients

Potatoes

  • 4 potatoes
  • water and salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Sauce

  • 3 cloves crushed garlic
  • melted cheese (optional)
  • 1/4 cup mayo
  • 4 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
  • salt and pepper

Method

  • Step 1

    Slice the potatoes into wedges. Add to a pot of salted water and bring to a boil for 8 minutes. Set aside to cool.

  • Step 2

    Meanwhile, prepare the batter. Combine the flour, cold water, and spices to a large mixing bowl. Coat the potato wedges in the batter.

  • Step 3

    Warm oil to fry. Add the potato wedges to the oil, and cook until golden brown.

  • Step 4

    Combine all of the ingredients for the sauce in a small bowl.

  • Step 5

    Serve and enjoy.
