Serves or Makes: 2


  • 1 box penne pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup comeback cow cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/ 3 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/ 4 cup cheddar
  • small handful of fresh sage, chopped


  • Step 1

    Cook penne pasta according to package directions. Set aside.

  • Step 2

    Sauté the minced garlic, chopped sage, pumpkin puree and butter in a large skillet until garlic and pumpkin are fragrant. Add in the cream and stir.

  • Step 3

    Slice comeback cow cheese in half, and scoop out the inside. For easier scooping, dip your spoon in hot water. Melt the cheese into the sauce until it becomes creamy. Add in the cheddar cheese until melted.

  • Step 4

    Add in the cooked pasta and stir to combine. Serve hot.
