ingredients
Tacos
- 8 oz sushi grade salmon
- 1 pound snow crab clusters
- 1/4 cup japanese mayo
- 1 tablespoon tamari
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 3 tablespoons sriracha
- 1/4 cup scallions
- 1 avocado, sliced
- black sesame seeds
- serrano, to taste
ingredients
Dipping Sauce
- 1/2 orange, juiced
- handful of cilantro
- 1/2 serrano pepper
- 1/4 cup scallions
- 3 tablespoons tamari
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 2 tablespoons peanuts
Method
Step 1
Steam your crab covered in a shallow pan with 1 inch boiling water for 4-5 min. Place it in an ice bath and get the crab meat out. Use a paper towels to pat dry it.
Step 2
Mix the japanese mayo, sriracha, sesame oil, tamari together and add the crab & scallions.
Step 3
Place everything for your dipping sauce in a food processor and process into desired texture.
Step 4
Add a slice of avocado in the center of each salmon slice, followed by some crab (approx 1 tbsp) and roll up.
Step 5
Serve with serrano on top and the dipping sauce.
