Ingredient Notes
Banana: Use a very ripe banana with brown spots for the best flavor and texture. The riper the banana, the sweeter and more pronounced the flavor will be.
Brown Sugar: Packed brown sugar adds moisture and a deep, caramel-like sweetness, enhancing the soft texture of the cookies.
Butter: Make sure your melted butter is slightly cooled before mixing it in to avoid scrambling the egg yolk.
Cinnamon: This adds warmth and enhances the banana flavor, making these cookies extra cozy.
Chocolate Chips: Semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips balance the sweetness of the banana and brown sugar. Feel free to use milk chocolate for a sweeter version or mix in chunks for extra gooey bites!
