Creamy Corn Chowder
"I can eat soup everyday and especially love it as summer winds down and there’s a chill in the evening air. Little is more comforting and I need all I can get right now. End of summer produce is at its peak and what a divine way to take advantage of it! This veggie (seafood) chowder is made using leftovers, bits and bobs from the crisper and a few fresh veggies from the farm stand. The stock is made from my freezer stash of veggie scraps along with some corn cobs."

This Creamy Corn Chowder is made using veggie scraps, that's right! This big bowl of deliciousness also uses shrimp shells, salmon scraps and bones to add extra flavor. It's finished off with cream, fresh veggies, herbs and seasonings for a warm chowder the whole family will love.
