Beef Picadillo is very simple to make. It’s made with ground beef, tomatoes, potato, carrots and peas.

ingredients
- 1 cup EPIC Beef Jalepeño Sea Salt Bone Broth
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 medium white onion, minced
- 8 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 Roma tomatoes, diced
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce, optional
- black pepper, to taste
- 1 medium carrot, diced
- 1 medium russet potato, diced
- 3/4 cup frozen green peas
- cooked white rice, for serving
Method
Step 1
Heat olive oil in pot over medium heat.
Step 2
Add onions and garlic and cook until soft, about 3 minutes. Add tomatoes and cook for another 3 minutes.
Step 3
Add ground beef and cook until browned. Add EPIC Beef Broth and bring to a boil. Cover, lower heat and simmer for about 15 minutes. Add soy sauce, fish sauce and pepper to taste.
Step 4
Add carrots, potatoes and peas and bring to a boil. Cover, lower heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
Step 5
Enjoy with white rice.
