  • 4 slices of brioche bread, sliced 1-2 inches thick
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • 1/2 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
  • Sea salt, to taste

Method

  • Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

    Remove the crusts from the brioche slices and set aside.

    In a bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar until well combined. Stir in the honey until the mixture is smooth.

    Spread an even layer of the honey butter mixture over all sides of each brioche slice.
