ingredients
- 2 (10 ounce) top sirloin steaks
- Sea salt
- 1 bottle Better Than Marinade Prime Steakhouse
- 1 sweet onion, sliced
- Olive oil, for cooking
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- Juice of ½ lemon
- Kosher salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Fresh arugula
- 2 baguettes
- 5 slices Swiss cheese
- Balsamic glaze
Method
Step 1
Pat steaks dry and season generously with sea salt. Place in a bowl or container and pour over Better Than Marinade Prime Steakhouse. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Step 2
In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
Step 3
In another bowl, toss arugula with a drizzle of olive oil and a pinch of salt. Set aside.
Step 4
Heat a flat-top grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Add a splash of olive oil and cook onions until soft and caramelized, about 10–12 minutes. Grill steak to desired doneness, about 4–5 minutes per side for medium-rare, then let rest before slicing thinly.
Step 5
Slice baguettes in half lengthwise. Spread garlic aioli on one side and lay Swiss cheese on the other. Briefly microwave or broil the cheese side to melt. Layer with sliced steak, caramelized onions, arugula, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze. Serve warm.
