ingredients
- 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon runny nut butter
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon vanilla protein powder
- 1 1/4 teaspoons plant milk
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- Chocolate chunks
Method
Step 1
first freeze chocolate peanut butter on baking paper in a small container (I used a salad dressing tub) - so it freezes in a ball shape/doesn’t spread out. Leave at least 30 mins or until firmly set.
Step 2
combine flour, protein, salt, baking powder, baking soda, then add syrup, nut butter, and milk. should be a cookie dough texture, slightly sticky but not wet.
Step 3
Fold in choc chips/chunks. Shape into a flattened disc, add frozen choc peanut butter to center, and cover up. Ensure no gaps! Add more choc on top then microwave 40 seconds.
Step 4
While warm, sprinkle sea salt. Let cool slightly and enjoy.
