ingredients

  • 2 broccoli crowns
  • 1 teapsoons gochugaru
  • oil

For the sauce-

  • 2 tabelspoons gochujang paste
  • 1 tabelspoons soy sauce
  • 1 tabelspoons honey
  • 1/2 tabelspoons white vinegar
  • 1/2 teapsoons sesame oil
  • 1 teapsoons sesame seeds
  • 1/2 tabelspoons freshly grated ginger
  • 1/8 cup water

Method

  • Step 1

    Wash and cut each broccoli crown into quarters.

  • Step 2

    Mix together all ingredients listed under the sauce and heat on low flame for 3-4 mins, stirring constantly.

  • Step 3

    Take the sauce off the heat and cool down slightly.

  • Step 4

    Pour half of the sauce over the broccoli and toss to combine.

  • Step 5

    Grill the broccoli in a pan drizzled with 1-2 tsp oil and cook on one side for 2 mins. Turn and cook on the other side for another 2 mins.

  • Step 6

    Remove the cooked broccoli in a plate, drizzle over the remaining sauce and sprinkle some gochugaru on top.

  • Step 7

    Serve with your choice of rice or noodles.
