"I love meatballs. They are so easy to make and super versatile. You can make up a big batch then freeze them to use in so many different dishes. Here we made a cleaned up version of classic spaghetti and meatballs. This is a gluten-free, dairy-free version of Giada’s Italian meatballs recipe. We used lean ground turkey in this recipe for years, but recently switched to organic ground chicken. We save the ends of gluten-free bread in the freezer and then grind it up to make the bread crumbs. You can use fresh or organic dried herbs and seasonings. Another trick I love is making the red sauce from scratch. So we use 1 tablespoon of tomato paste in the meatball recipe. I not only love Bionaturae pasta but also their tomato paste. It is organic and comes in a jar (so definitely BPA free). You can find other recipes to use it in, or freeze it in tablespoons, or make your red sauce from it. It’s so easy! Just a little olive oil, garlic, onion flakes and crushed pepper. Then the rest of the paste, water and a few more ingredients. And voila, you have spaghetti, meatballs, and homemade red sauce. Yum!"
