Meal Plan: August 28th

This week's menu is packed with an array of pantry-friendly recipes made with ingredients you probably have on hand -easy huh? Just think of it as a little gift as we head into peak back-to-school season!

Keep it simple with some delicious, saucy pork meatballs and a few chicken dishes that are versatile and quick-cooking. (You could even swap in some cubed beef for the skewers!) We also wanted to add a buttery-grilled corn recipe to this week's menu before the season ends! And just wait until you try Food Editor @Andrealoretdemola's cucumber salad, a combination of Peruvian and Japanese flavors.

Over the weekend, treat yourself (or the whole family!) @Katie.melodie's genius recipe by fusing a French crêpe and burrito and filling it with ham or bacon, tater tots, and lots of cheese. I guess you could say this week's theme is fusion recipes!

Andrea’s Addictive Cucumber Salad
By @Andrealoretdemola

Inspired by @Andrealoretdemola's time working at a Japanese Peruvian restaurant in NYC, she decided to recreate their addictive cucumber salad appetizer. The restaurant's version included ingredients like dashi, yuzu, and wakame. She toned down the ingredients to make a simplified version that scratches the same itch.
