"This pasta salad is sure to please any flavor lover! It is durable for summer picnics can be made the day before, and tastes great! When I make it at home, I prefer to use Gluten-Free Pasta and for that reason, I feel a built guilt-free when eating it by the bowl full."

ingredients

  • 12 ounces box pasta of your choice cooked and cooled
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 2 ounces basil (sweet basil)
  • 8 ounces chopped sundried tomatoes (oil and all)
  • 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • cracked pepper
  • salt
  • crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • olive oil

Method

  • Step 1

    Cook pasta according to box instructions. I like to use THIS pasta, but you can use whatever you have at hand or prefer.

  • Step 2

    Blend basil leaves and garlic together into a fine paste.

  • Step 3

    Mix all ingredients except the red pepper flakes together.

  • Step 4

    Add oil from the sun-dried tomatoes container and add oil if you prefer.

  • Step 5

    Serve cold.
