Nori Wrap with SPAM

Method

  • Step 1

    Cook rice, cool and set aside about 1 cup, divided in half. Or, use leftover rice. Take out two Just Egg packs from the freezer, remove from packaging Prep SPAM, slice into thin squares Note: Only 1 slice per wrap Prep fermented radish Note: Only 2-3 thinly sliced pieces per wrap

  • Step 2

    Cook SPAM on frying pan, medium-high heat depending on your preference on how crispy you like your slice. Fry on each side 2-3 mins per side, flipping occasionally and/or adjusting stove heat levels. Remove SPAM slices and place on paper towels to drain grease

  • Step 3

    Use same frying pan that SPAM was cooked with, turn down stove heat to medium-low. Add two Just Egg slices to frying pan to thaw and slightly brown If using leftover rice, reheat for 30-90 seconds in the microwave OR reheat in the same frying pan after removing the Just Egg slices

  • Step 4

    Nori Wrap Assembly (1 of 3): Cut one side of the square nori wrap half-way towards the center of the square. Have rough side of nori wrap facing up with cut side of wrap at six o'clock. Place one cooked and cooled slice of SPAM in the upper left quadrant. Place one cooked and cooled Just Egg slice in the lowel left quadrant.

  • Step 5

    Nori Wrap Assembly (2 of 3): Take 1/2 c of cooled rice and evenly distribute in upper right quadrant of the nori wrap. Take 2, no more than 3 thinly sliced fermented radish and lay on top of rice in upper right quadrant.

  • Step 6

    Nori Wrap Assembly (3 of 3): Carefully take lower right quadrant of nori wrap and fold up towards upper right quadrant and continue counter-clockwise from upper left quadrant to lower left quadrant to completely form the nori wrap. Repeat the process with second nori wrap and remaining ingredients.
