I think Thursdays should be tropical Thursdays, everyone loves a good tropical drink! I don't know when Piña Coladas got a bad rep, but they sure are good, if made right! I can never decide if I like shaken or frozen ones better.. <br> <br> Shaken Piña Colada<br> <br> Recipe: <br> 2 oz White Rum<br> 2 oz coconut cream<br> 5 oz pineapple juice <br> 1/2 oz Gum Syrup<br> Tiki Bitters<br> <br> Shake over ice and garnish with pineapple leaf and mint.<br> <br> Frozen Piñata Colada:<br> <br> 2 oz white rum<br> 2 oz coconut cream<br> 5 oz pineapple juice frozen into ice cubes<br> 1/4-1/2 cup ice cubes<br> Dark rum (such as @appletonestateusa) floater<br> Toasted coconut<br> <br> Toast coconut flakes. Blend all ingredients except aged rum & coconut in blender. Pour into glass and top with rum and coconut.<br> <br>
