Rosemary Pork Chops With Blackcurrant And Fennel Braised Cabbage
Dinner is served! Pork chops filled with rosemary + red cabbage braised with blackcurrant and crispy fresh fennel
This braised cabbage adds intensely beautiful color to any plate!
Red cabbage is fried in a bit of oil together with some finely chopped shallots. Add a handful fresh/frozen black currants and a cup of apple juice (or red wine for a more adult version). Braise for about 15 minutes, add balsamic vinegar, sugar, salt + pepper to taste. When the cabbage is tender, toss with fresh, thinly sliced fennel and serve!
