Pear Galette with Apricot Jam Glaze
"Ode to the galette, my favorite way to use pie dough! Figured Labor Day was the perfect day to pull some dough out of the freezer. I saw Pluot galette yesterday and I was inspired to whip one pluots today but I did use these beautiful pears my dear friend Candice @proportionalplate gave me from her mother-in-law's tree. Simple pie dough, I use @mariesaba 's recipe. A sprinkle of semolina + sugar on the base. Sliced pears and then sprinkling of a sugar and cardamom mixture. I didn't measure a thing😂!! Baked at 425° convection bake for...🤷🏽‍♀️, until it was browned...then a glaze of apricot jam on top. I cannot wait to take a bite."
