ingredients
- 1 package Manicotti shells
- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup Red Gold® Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce Ketchup 20oz, divided
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 pound bacon
- 1 tablespoon BBQ rub
Method
Step 1
Preheat a smoker or oven to 225°F.
Step 2
Boil the Manicotti shells for about 5 minutes, drain, and slice them down the center to create pockets for the filling.
Step 3
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, 1 tablespoon of Red Gold® Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce Ketchup, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined.
Step 4
Fill each Manicotti shell with approximately 3 tablespoons of the beef and cheese mixture.
Step 5
Wrap each stuffed shell with a strip of bacon and season the bacon with BBQ rub.
Step 6
Place the wrapped Manicotti shells onto the smoker and cook for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Step 7
Every 15 minutes, brush the stuffed shells with the remaining Red Gold Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce Ketchup for extra flavor and a delicious glaze.
Step 8
Once the shells are fully cooked and the bacon is crispy, remove from the smoker and serve hot.
