ingredients

  • 1 pound (16 ounces) fresh shrimp
  • 1 tabelspoons seafood seasoning, such as Old Bay
  • 2 tablepoons apple cider vinegar
  • 3 fresh lemons
  • 3 peeled and smashed garlic cloves
  • fresh parsley

Method

  • Step 1

    Fill a big pot with water. Add Southernmost Blend, apple cider vinegar, a few smashed garlic cloves, and squeeze in the juice of one lemon; throw the lemon in the pot. Bring the water to a boil.

  • Step 2

    When the water is boiling, add the shrimp. Bring water back to a boil and cook about 2 minutes or until the shrimp are white and no longer translucent.

  • Step 3

    Drain the shrimp, discard the garlic, and place in a covered bowl in the refrigerator to cool.

  • Step 4

    When cool, place in a serving bowl. Dust with a teaspoon of the seasoning. Serve with lemon wedges and cocktail sauce.

  • Step 5

    Serve hot or chill until ready to serve.
