Apple Cake With Poppy Seeds
It's definitely not the last time I make this apple cake with poppy seeds. Have a great day! <br><br> You'll need :<br> 250 g butter, softened <br> 220 g sugar<br> 2 tsp vanilla extract<br> 4 - 5 eggs<br> pinch of salt<br> 350 g all - purpose flour<br> 100 g ground almonds<br> 2 tsp baking powder<br><br> Filling :<br> 250 g natural joghurt<br> 200 g ground poppy seeds (I used Mohnback )<br><br> Topping :<br> 1 kg apples, peeled and chopped<br><br> Method :<br> Cream the butter and sugar together. Beat the eggs in, one at the time. Whisk the flour, salt, almonds and baking powder together, and add to the mixture, half at the time. Pour mixture into a springform tin. Combine joghurt & poppy seeds. Whisk until smooth. Spread the mixture over the dough, arrange apples over the poppy seeds mixture. Sprinkle some more brown or white sugar on the cake. Bake for about 40 minutes at 180 degrees. Enjoy!
