ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups cornmeal
  • 1 1/3 cup hot water
  • 1 2/3 teaspoon yeast
  • Salt to taste

Method

  • Step 1

    Mix the cornmeal and the hot water together. Cool for later use

  • Step 2

    Add two eggs and mix it well; Add in the all purpose flour and the yeast. Add some water in case the mixture is too dry

  • Step 3

    Rest the dough in a warm place for 1 hour

  • Step 4

    Take the dough and divide it into small pieces in the bun shapes. Rest them in the steamer for another 45 - 60 minutes

  • Step 5

    Steam for 20 minutes and serve.
