Recipe Intro From christinefiorentino_
Tea time is a moment for hitting the reset button. My Irish grandmother had a deep and unwavering love of afternoon tea time. She firmly believed in the power of taking a few minutes each day to pause, chit chat, and recharge. She took her tea with literally *a drop* of milk, and of course she always gave me free rein with the sugar bowl, because what are grandmas for, amiright? We’d snack on a dish of wafer biscuits or butter cookies and catch up on life.
In her honor, I call this warm and grounding beverage my Afternoon Ritual Tea. It’s made using fresh mint leaves, lemon slices, and sweet and earthy honey and cinnamon. Even though she’s no longer here with me, the memory of afternoon tea with my grandmother makes me feel connected to her still, and that is what memories created in the kitchen have the power to do.
Give yourself the gift of tea time today. Pause, sit, and sip on a cup of this Afternoon Ritual Tea to rebalance, reset, and simply enjoy a moment. Plan ahead for making this warm and relaxing beverage by shopping this Dark Horse Rose Gold Honey and La Boîte Soft Cinnamon Sticks in the Feedfeed Shop!
