ingredients
- 1 bottle (750 ml) white wine (such as Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio)
- 2 cups apple cider
- 1/2 cup brandy
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 4 cinnamon sticks
- 2 apples, cored and sliced
- 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds
Method
Step 1
In a large pitcher, combine the white wine, apple cider, brandy, maple syrup, and cinnamon sticks.
Step 2
Add the sliced apples and pomegranate seeds to the pitcher. Stir gently to combine all the ingredients.
Step 3
Cover the pitcher with plastic wrap or a lid and place it in the refrigerator. Allow the sangria to chill for at least 4 hours, but for best flavor, let it sit overnight to allow the flavors to meld together.
Step 4
Before serving, stir the sangria again to mix the settled ingredients.
Step 5
When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice (if desired) and pour the chilled Apple Cider Sangria into each glass, making sure to include some of the fruit in each serving.
Step 6
Optionally, garnish with additional apple slices or cinnamon sticks.
