ingredients
- 1 cup unbleached all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup coconut sugar
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 2/3 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cup pretzels, chopped
- 1/3 cup candy canes, crushed
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips, melted
Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350ºF and grease a 9x9 inch cake pan.
Step 2
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, coconut sugar, cocoa powder, and salt.⠀
Step 3
Add the eggs, butter, melted dark chocolate, milk, vanilla, and peppermint extract. Stir to combine.
Step 4
Fold in chopped pretzels and crushed candy canes. Transfer to greased pan. Bake at for 21-25 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with just a few crumbs attached.
Step 5
Allow to cool fully before slicing into squares.
