Thick crust beer pizza

ingredients

  • 430 grams all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon dry yeast
  • 350 milliliters light beer
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Fillings

  • 250 grams fresh mozzarella
  • 100 grams swiss cheese
  • 100 grams salami
  • 100 grams tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon pesto
  • 50 grams grated parmesan
  • 1 cup spinach

Method

  • Step 1

    Make the dough, it will be quite wet and shaggy

  • Step 2

    Drizzle with olive oil and cover with a wet towel

  • Step 3

    Let rest in a warm place for 2 hours

  • Step 4

    Preheat your oven to 230°C

  • Step 5

    Divide the dough into 3 parts (depending on your pan size)

  • Step 6

    Oil a cast iron pan or a pizza pan

  • Step 7

    Place one of the dough pieces and flatten out

  • Step 8

    Put on your toppings: 1 pizza with salami and swiss cheese 1 with mozzarella and spinach and parmesan 1 with mozzarella, swiss cheese and pesto

  • Step 9

    Bake for 15 minutes

  • Step 10

    * To avoid the mozzarella burning, add it a few minutes before the pizza is done and broil
