Thin Ice Cocktail

"Quite possibly one of the most evocative things about this time of year is being out in the neighbourhood and you can smell the neighbours fireplaces filling the air with that delicious burning-wood smell. I would equate that experience to drinking this @HendricksGin cocktail I had while visiting @basiccanning at @thecloakbar - it is equally evocative with its likeness to the after-dinner thin mints that only seem to appear during the Holidays…but with a very pleasant balance. . Hendricks gin is definitely one of the freshest tasting gins out there (with the notes of cucumber and rose) and this works perfectly with the other ingredients. The minty flavour is balanced out with spices such as fennel, anise and clove spice from the xmas bitters."
