Torn Burrata, Fig and Herb Salad

ingredients

  • 1 ball torn burrata or mozzarella
  • 4 fresh torn figs
  • 2 cups shiso or arugula
  • 1/2 cup basil
  • 6 fresh cherry tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar

Method

  • Step 1

    Firstly, wash all ingredients well as they will not be cooked in this recipe.

  • Step 2

    Place your shiso or arugula divided between two bowls or on a simple serving platter. Top with torn burrata, basil, figs and whole (or cut) cherry tomatoes.

  • Step 3

    Drizzle with the balsamic vinegar and sprinkle a generous amount of sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper.
