ingredients

  • 3/4 cup raw oats
  • 3 cup water
  • 2 teasopon vanilla extract
  • 4 whole pitted dates

Method

  • Step 1

Soak your oats in the water over night. Leave covered and in a dry place.

  • Step 2

The next day, blend all ingredients together for 8-10 minutes in a high speed food processor. No more than 10 minutes as you can over blend the oats, causing them to separate from the water. It does need a decent time blending though as otherwise the oats won't form into a milk emulsification.

  • Step 3

If you wish to have very smooth milk, place through a strainer fitted with a cheese cloth and a bowl underneath.

  • Step 4

Place in the fridge for 2-3 hours to cool and then enjoy.
