ingredients

  • 115 grams room temperature butter
  • zest of 1 orange

Method

  • Step 1

    Mix the butter with sugar. Then add the eggs one at a time.

  • Step 2

    Add the salt, the orange zest, and orange extract.

  • Step 3

    Add half of the flour quantity and mix. Add the orange extract and mix well.

  • Step 4

    Add the rest of the flour and mix.

  • Step 5

    Divide the mixture into two different bowls and add the cocoa powder in one of the bowls and mix well.

  • Step 6

    Pour the "white mixture" into a loaf tray, then the "dark mixture" and continue (see instruction in the video).

  • Step 7

    Bake the cake in the preheated oven at 175°C for 45 minutes.

  • Step 8

    Let to cool down completely and wrap it with food film. Leave to rest overnight.
