ingredients
- 3 tabelspoons Oil
- 1 tabelspoons chopped Shallot
- 3 fresh Oranges
- 2 tabelspoons Mezcal
- 1 teasopon Sweetener of your choice
- Salt to Taste
- Pepper to Taste
- 1/4 teapsoons Chipotle in adobo
Method
Step 1
Cut the oranges in half and light drizzle with 1/2 tablespoon of a neutral oil (we used grape seed oil)
Step 2
On a high heat in a grill or pan of your choice, cook the oranges cut side down until they get a nice caramelized char
Step 3
Let 2 of the oranges cool down before you cut them
Step 4
With the remainder orange, juice it once it has cooled down
Step 5
Take the remainder of the ingredients, and combine with the orange juice and shake until emulsified.
Step 6
Drizzle over the cut grilled oranges and enjoy. *** you can add nuts and herbs of your choice as well
