ingredients

  • 1 large cube ice tray
  • 1 medium orange, washed and sliced into thin rounds
  • Water

Method

  • Step 1

To make a full flower: Use 3 circle slices per flower. Gently "taco" each orange circle and place it in the ice tray, forming a flower.

  • Step 2

To make a flower with a bud: Use 2 circle slices for the outside petals and 3 half-circle slices for the inside bud. Gently "taco" two circles and place them in the ice tray as outside petals. Follow up by "taco-ing" three half slices to form the inner bud.

  • Step 3

To simply make cute orange slices: Slice circles in half. Drop one half-circle slice per ice cube.

  • Step 4

Fill each compartment with water up to the rim and place the ice tray in the freezer until frozen (approximately 4-5 hours, depending on the freezer).
