  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • pinch asafetida

Finish the flavors

  • 1/2 teaspoon Himalayan pink salt
  • 1/2 lime, freshly squeezed
  • 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped (optional; but especially good in summer)
