ingredients
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
- 2 tablespoons baking powder
- 1 pound chicken wings
- 2-3 tablespoons Lee Kum Kee Sriracha Chilli Sauce, plus more for dipping
- Optional: honey, 1 teaspoon sesame seeds, ½ cup of diced green onions
Method
Step 1
Add the paprika, garlic powder, cayenne powder and baking powder to a small mixing bowl. Stir until combined and set aside.
Step 2
Add the chicken wings to medium to large mixing bowl, depending on size of your wings. You will need enough room to mix them.
Step 3
Pour the dry seasoning mix over the chicken wings and combine until all wings are evenly coated. Cover the bowl with saran wrap and place in the fridge to marinate for a minimum of 30 minutes.
Step 4
Preheat the air fryer to 390°F.
Step 5
Once the chicken wings have marinated, remove from the fridge and add to the air fryer basket. Spray the coated chicken wings with olive oil spray.
Step 6
Cook in oven for approximately 7-8 minutes, or until they crisp up. Remove from the air fryer and add the wings to a new mixing bowl.
Step 7
Once the wings are in the mixing bowl, cover the wings with Lee Kum Kee’s Sriracha Chilli Sauce to taste. Once the wings are covered, add them back to the air fryer to bake.
Step 8
Cook the wings in the air fryer for approximately 8 minutes total. Shake the wings half way through. Near the end of the cooking time, if you’d like the wings a bit crispier, turn up the heat.
Step 9
Once the wings are cooked, transfer to a serving plate and top the wings with toasted sesame seeds and diced green onion. Feel free to drizzle more of the Sriracha Chilli Sauce on top for extra flavor.
