Chocolate Challah French Toast

ingredients
- 2 slices challah bread
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup whole milk whole milk
- 1/4 teaspoons powdered cinnamon
- 50 grams dark chocolate
- 1/4 cup maple syrup maple syrup
- 25 grams unsalted butter unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup berries
Method
Step 1
Whisk together eggs, milk and cinnamon powder until combined.
Step 2
Dip the bread slices in the mixture.
Step 3
On medium-high heat fry the bread until golden brown.
Step 4
Once both slices are ready, place one slice back in the pan, add chocolate and place the other slice on top, and fry for about 30 seconds.
Step 5
Add powdered sugar.
Step 6
Serve with maple syrup and berries.
