ingredients

  • 2 slices challah bread
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 cup whole milk whole milk
  • 1/4 teaspoons powdered cinnamon
  • 50 grams dark chocolate
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup maple syrup
  • 25 grams unsalted butter unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup berries

Method

  • Step 1

    Whisk together eggs, milk and cinnamon powder until combined.

  • Step 2

    Dip the bread slices in the mixture.

  • Step 3

    On medium-high heat fry the bread until golden brown.

  • Step 4

    Once both slices are ready, place one slice back in the pan, add chocolate and place the other slice on top, and fry for about 30 seconds.

  • Step 5

    Add powdered sugar.

  • Step 6

    Serve with maple syrup and berries.
