"This cool and creamy dessert is a grown-up version of a Kraft recipe my Mom has made every summer, perfect for 100 degree days. It’s made with a salty-sweet pretzel crust and frosty filling flavored with fresh limes and your favorite brand of tequila. This is a must make for your next summer party!"

ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups finely crushed pretzels
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 6 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup lime juice
- 1 tablespoon lime zest, plus more for garnish
- 1 envelope Kool Aid Lemon Lime flavor unsweetened drink mix
- 3 tablespoons tequila blanco
- 1 tub Cool Whip whipped topping, thawed and divided
Method
Step 1
Combine pretzel crumbs, sugar and butter. I ground my pretzels in a food processor, then added the sugar and the melted butter and pulsed until it was all combined. Press onto bottom and up side of 9-inch pie plate. Refrigerate until ready to use.
Step 2
Whisk the next few ingredients — sweetened condensed milk, lime juice, zest, drink mix and tequila in large bowl until blended. Fold in 2-1/2 cups Cool Whip; pour into crust.
Step 3
Freeze 6 hours, overnight or until firm. Let stand at room temperature 15 min. before serving to soften slightly. Top with remaining cool whip dollop in center and lime zest/slices as a garnish.
