  • 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

Method

  • Step 1

    In a large bowl, combine the warm water, yeast, and salt. Whisk until dissolved, about 20 seconds.

    Stir in the flour with a wooden spoon or spatula until a shaggy, sticky dough forms. If needed, adjust with 1 tablespoon of warm water or flour at a time—dough should be sticky but not wet.
