Slicing through a winter squash can be tricky. With the Shun Cutlery Classic 8” Chef’s Knife, an otherwise tricky task becomes no problem. 

These delicata squash chips are a seasonal crunchy snack perfect for topping salads or dipping into your favorite sauces!

ingredients

  • 1 small delicata squash, thinly sliced to ¼ inch slices
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt, to taste

Method

  • Step 1

    Preheat oven to 300F.

  • Step 2

    On a parchment lined baking sheet, add the thinly sliced delicata squash in a thin layer and lightly brush or spray with olive oil. Season with salt, toss to combine and bake 300 for 15 minutes until lightly golden brown and the edges begin to ruffle.

  • Step 3

    Drop the oven temperature to 225F and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until crispy and chip like.
