ingredients
- 380 gram all-purpose flour
- 380 gram carrots (grated)
- 300 gram cane sugar
- 190 gram soya yogurt
- 180 gram neutral vegetable oil
- 180 ml soya milk
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon powder
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoons dry ginger powder
- 1/2 teaspoons nutmeg powder
- 1/4 teaspoons salt
- 100 gram Chopped walnuts.
- 3 7 inch cake tin
Method
Step 1
Method - Preheat the oven to 180°C Grease and line three 7-inch pans with parchment paper.
Step 2
In a large bowl mix add sugar and all wet ingredients.Whisk untill well combined .Add grated carrots and set aside. In another bowl sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, dry ginger powder,nutmeg, and salt.
Step 3
Now Mix wet and dry ingredients together and add vanilla extract and chopped walnuts. Divide the batter evenly between the 3 prepared cake pans.
Step 4
Bake for 25-30 minutes at 180°C or until a toothpick inserted into the center of one of the cakes comes out clean. Cool the cake on the cooling rack.Enoy with your favourate frosting.
